Privacy Policy

This privacy policy is referred to the website terremarine.it (hereinafter, the “Site”) and describes the data processing activities performed by Terre Marine through the Site, which is owned by Welcome Way.
The Site is managed by Welcome Way, in its role of Data Processor nominated by the Data Controller, as defined below.
Terre Marine recognizes the importance of the privacy of its users and is committed to protect it, in accordance with European Legislation on data protection and the the Italian “Privacy Code” (Legislative Decree June 30, 2003 n. 196 and further amendments and integrations).


If user visits the Site usually no personal data will be collected or processed, expect for the so named “surfing data”, which are data whose transmission to the Site is necessary to allow the functioning of the information systems that manage the Site and more generally the use of Internet communications protocols. Surfing data are for example the computer’s IP addresses or domain names used to visit the Site together with other parameters on the relevant operating system. Terre Marine does not collect surfing data to associate them with other user’s information or to identify users. However, by their nature, surfing data may allow the identification of user by association with other information. Terre Marine may use said data to assess possible responsibilities for information crimes against the Site or realized through the Site. With this exception, Terre Marine keeps surfing data only temporarily and according to applicable legislation. As regards to the use of Cookies, please refer to the section below.

Terre Marine collects and processes personal data voluntarily provided by user upon interaction with the Site functionalities and request of the services offered by the Site, for example when user subscribes to the Site, to the newsletter and purchases Terre Marine products.

Terre Marine may collect include name, e-mail and phone number. When personal data are collected on the Site a specific informative statement will be displayed according to Art. 13 of the Privacy Code. If user provides Terre Marine with personal data of third parties (for example the telephone number or e-amil address of a third party) user shall provide that said communication to Terre Marine and its processing for the purposes specified in the relevant privacy statement are in compliance with the Privacy Code and applicable legislation, so for example user may provide third parties’ data only after having duly informed them and having obtained their consent if necessary.


In addition to the so-called surfing data (please refer to section 2 above and the paragraph on Cookies, below) Terre Marine may process the personal data in order to provide the services requested, such as elaborating and operating the purchase requests and perform the necessary fulfillments connected to them, including administrative, accounting tax and legal obligations.

User’s personal data will also be processed by Terre Marine to comply with obligations imposed by laws, regulations and Community legislation (including money laundering legislation) and to establish or defend a legal claim of Terre Marine.

Furthermore, personal data may be processed for marketing purposes (namely to send newsletter, information, promotional material regarding products, services, promotions and initiatives of Terre Marine, as well as to invite to events and activities) or for profiling activities (creation of profiles based on habits and choices of consumers), where the appropriate consents are provided by the user.

For the purposes described above, the conferment of personal data of the user is necessary, and any refusal would prevent Terre Marine from performing its contractual obligations and providing services and goods to the user.

Terre Marine processes personal data mostly through electronic and automated means whose procedures and logics are defined according to the purposes herein specified. Data may also be processed in paper form. Terre Marine keeps data only for the time that is necessary to fulfill specific purposes that are sought from time to time.


User personal data will be accessible within the Terre Marine organization on a need-to-know basis by its personnel as persons charged with data processing operations. User personal data may be communicated to institutions, authorities, public entities, professionals, independent consultants, business partners of Terre Marine, notably third parties to which it may revert to in relation to performance of business, professional and technical services functional to the managing of the Site and the processing purposes herein specified. User’s personal data may also be communicated to third parties in case of mergers, acquisitions, transfer of assets, products or other extraordinary operations and Terre Marine companies. These third parties will be provided only with the information necessary to perform their respective functions; they agree to use the information received only for the processing purposes above specified, to keep it confidential and secure and to comply with applicable law. User’s personal data may further be communicated to whoever is the legitimate addressee under applicable laws, thus for example in case of judicial processes, request by competent courts and authorities or other legal obligation, and if Terre Marine in good faith holds the data communication as necessary to comply with obligations deriving from applicable legislation, to protect and defend the rights and property of Terre Marine and the Site. The third parties receiving data will process them as Controllers, Processors or persons in charge of processing, as the case may be, for the same purposes specified in this Privacy Policy and according to applicable privacy laws.

Terre Marine, where requested by privacy law, will obtain the necessary consents in order to process the data provided. The data provided will under no circumstance be processed by third parties for their own promotional and profiling purposes.

This Privacy Policy is subject to updating and amendment. The version published on the Site is the version currently in force. Changes to this Privacy Policy will be communicated by publication of the new policy on the Site. Terre Marine invites users to periodically review the Privacy Policy to be informed of any relevant change.


Terre Marine is committed to protect the security of user’s personal data and complies with security provisions set forth by applicable laws and regulations to prevent loss of data, unlawful or unfair use of data and unauthorized access to data, with specific but not limited reference to Annex B of the Privacy Code (Technical Specifications Concerning Minimum Security Measures). Moreover, information systems and software programs are configured by reducing to a minimum the use of personal and identification data, which are used only if necessary for specific purposes that are sought from time to time.

Conservazione dei dati personali

I dati sono trattati esclusivamente da personale specificamente autorizzato, incluso il personale incaricato di svolgere operazioni di manutenzione straordinaria.

Finalità e modalità del trattamento

La Società può trattare i dati personali comuni e sensibili dell’utente per le seguenti finalità: utilizzo da parte degli utenti di servizi e funzionalità presenti sul Sito, gestione di richieste e segnalazioni da parte dei propri utenti, invio di newsletter, etc.

I dati personali sono trattati sia in forma cartacea che elettronica ed immessi nel sistema informativo aziendale nel pieno rispetto del Codice Privacy, compresi i profili di sicurezza e confidenzialità ed ispirandosi ai principi di correttezza e liceità di trattamento. In conformità all’art. 11 del Codice Privacy, i dati sono custoditi e conservati per un arco di tempo non superiore a quello necessario al conseguimento delle specifiche finalità di volta in volta perseguite.

Sicurezza e qualità dei dati personali

La Società si impegna a proteggere la sicurezza dei dati personali dell’utente e rispetta le disposizioni in materia di sicurezza previste dalla normativa applicabile al fine di evitare perdite di dati, usi illegittimi o illeciti dei dati e accessi non autorizzati agli stessi, con particolare ma non esclusivo riferimento all’Allegato B del Codice Privacy (Disciplinare Tecnico in materia di misure minime di sicurezza). Inoltre, i sistemi informativi e i programmi informatici utilizzati dalla Società sono configurati in modo da ridurre al minimo l’uso di dati personali e identificativi; tali dati sono trattati solo per il conseguimento delle specifiche finalità di volta in volta perseguite. La Società utilizza molteplici tecnologie avanzate di sicurezza e procedure atte a favorire la protezione dei dati personali degli utenti; ad esempio, i dati personali sono conservati su server sicuri ubicati in luoghi ad accesso protetto e controllato. L’utente può aiutare la Società ad aggiornare e mantenere corretti i propri dati personali comunicando qualsiasi modifica relativa al proprio indirizzo, alla propria qualifica, alle informazioni di contatto, etc.

Ambito di accessibilità dei dati personali

I dati personali dell’utente sono accessibili all’interno della Società al personale incaricato del trattamento che, in relazione alle proprie mansioni, ha bisogno di trattarli per assolvere alle richieste dell’utente relative all’utilizzo dei servizi e delle funzionalità presenti sul Sito e comunque per quanto concerne le finalità sopra descritte. I dati potranno essere comunicati alle altre aziende del gruppo Welcome Way per i medesimi fini e/o per finalità amministrativo-contabili ai sensi dell’art. 34 comma 1-ter del Codice Privacy e a terzi cui la Società si rivolge per l’esecuzione di servizi di natura commerciale, professionale e tecnica funzionali alle sopra indicate finalità. Fatto salvo quanto sopra, i dati personali dell’utente non sono comunicati a terzi, persone fisiche o giuridiche, né sono diffusi in alcun modo.

Natura del conferimento dei dati

Il conferimento di alcuni dati personali da parte dell’utente è obbligatorio per consentire alla Società di gestire le comunicazioni, le richieste pervenute dall’utente o per ricontattare l’utente stesso per dar seguito alla sua richiesta. Questo tipo di dati sono contrassegnati dal simbolo asterisco [*] ed in tal caso il conferimento è obbligatorio per consentire alla Società di dar seguito alla richiesta che, in difetto, non potrà essere evasa. Al contrario, la raccolta degli altri dati non contrassegnati dall’asterisco è facoltativa: il mancato conferimento non comporterà alcuna conseguenza per l’utente.

Diritti dell’utente

L’utente può esercitare in qualsiasi momento i diritti riconosciuti dall’art. 7 del Codice Privacy, compresi il diritto di ottenere la conferma dell’esistenza o meno di dati personali che lo riguardano, verificarne il contenuto, l’origine e l’esattezza, chiederne l’integrazione, l’aggiornamento, la rettificazione, la cancellazione, la trasformazione in forma anonima, il blocco dei dati trattati in violazione di legge, l’opposizione al trattamento dei dati per motivi legittimi.

Per qualsiasi richiesta relativa al trattamento dei dati personali da parte della Società, per esercitare i diritti riconosciuti dal Codice Privacy, nonché per conoscere l’elenco aggiornato dei soggetti cui i dati sono accessibili, l’utente può contattare il Responsabile del trattamento ai recapiti indicati in precedenza.
